Timi grew up in Rockledge and graduated from Merritt Island Christian School. She attended Cumberland College and graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1992. In 2004, Timi founded the law firm, Timi Tucker, P.A., now Tucker Mitnik, P.A., where she’s helped thousands of people with their legal matters. Timi maintains Martindale Hubble’s AV Preeminent rating, the highest distinction for attorneys.

Timi has tried over 25 jury trials in Brevard County. She has practiced law for over 31 years. She is a former Department of Children Families Senior Attorney where she prosecuted persons accused of neglecting, abandoning, and abusing children, Florida’s most vulnerable citizens.

Timi served as President of the Brevard County Bar Association. She also served as President of the Brevard County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. She is a Past Member of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Nominating Commission. She is a Past Director of Legal Aid. She served on the Board of Directors of Make-A-Wish Foundation in Brevard County. She is a Past Board Member of the Florida Institute of Technology Pre-Law Advisory Board. The Vassar B. Carlton Inn of Court named her Mentor of the Year.
